Checking Back In

I'm back in Buffalo for the next couple weeks after coming back from break. I was excited to get back, but with this being the end of the semester, things are generally very hectic and basically a pain in the ass.

Anyways, I basically took about 14 naps today around doing school work and such. I only caught one game today, with my Knicks losing to a very deep Portland team tonight at MSG. Chris Duhon and David Lee had great games again, but Portland proved to be too effective. Greg Oden looked like balls on offense, he has ton of work to do in that respect. He tried to dunk on my boy D-Lee in the first period, but back rimmed it and looked rather foolish. Other than that, not much else to note on the game. Tim Thomas looked lazy and tired again... I guess that happens when the other team decides to play defense.

I've been trying to get into a bunch of new music lately, which has actually turned out to be pretty successful. I started listening to Mr. Hudson & the Library (Mr. Hudson appeared on one of my favorite songs on 808 & HeartoTune, "Paranoid"). His voice kinda sounds like Sting's (The Police, not the face-painted wrestler... that'd be pretty funny). The instrumentals are kind of reggae-based, it's pretty chill stuff. He's signed to Kanye's GOOD Music, where 'Ye has already proclaimed him to be the future of music. I'm not going that far at this point, but MH&TL (+1 for abbreviations) has a new album coming out soon and seem to have a pretty bright future. I'd put their top 40 breakout potential at about 65% for the moment.
"Too Late, Too Late"
"Bread + Roses"

Other Stuff You Should Listen To
"I Love College" Asher Roth (dude is funny, maybe trying a little too hard to sound like Eminem)
"She Loves Me So" Anthony Green
"Love Hangover" Kidz in the Hall ft. Estelle

Over and out, long day ahead.
